Great News!  We have expanded our Early Head Start program!  Crystal Noble recently joined Yessica Nolazco-Puente.  They look forward to being able to serve 20 children in the Oceana County area!  We are looking for expectant mothers and children ages birth through age 3 to join us in Early Head Start at Diman-Wolf Early Childhood Center. 

If you or someone you know is interested in participating in our FREE home-based program, please call us at 873-6251 to register.  We would love to hear from you!

Our office is open 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.
You may call us at 873-6201 and we would be happy to answer any of your questions, or stop by and see our safe, inviting and friendly early childhood center, we would love to show you around.
We are currently full but we are always accepting applications for our Waiting List for the 2014-15 enrollment for children who are 3 or 4 years old on or by October 1, 2014.

Playgroup

Be watching this spot for future playgroup dates and times for 2014.

For children birth to age 5 and their parents
An opportunity for children to learn, grow and play while promoting developmentally appropriate activities.  Playgroup is also designed to build on strengths of families as we share creative ways to encourage children to build their skills.  Parents will have time to meet and talk to other parents.  Staff specialized in infant, toddler and preschool development will facilitate playgroup using researched based early childhood curriculum.
  • Fridays 9:00 - 10:30 a.m.
  • Call 873-6209 to register

**Playgroups do not meet if school is not in session due to weather, holidays, or staff development events.

Playgroups are FREE and open to all families with children ages birth to 5 years and their siblings age 12 years and under.

Please call ahead to register so we can plan for supplies and meals, ask for Alicia or Yessica at 231-873-6251.

Head Start and GSRP

We are looking for children who will be 3 or 4 years old on or by October
1, 2014 to attend our FREE preschool.  We are currently full but are accepting applications for our Waiting List for 2014-15.  Please feel free to call or stop in to enroll your child.  The 3 year old program is a half day from 8:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m., 9:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m., or 11:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.  The 4 year old program is all day 8:15 a.m.-3:15 p.m.  The children will enjoy family style meals, make new friends, and have fun learning and growing in a safe environment with our caring, qualified early childhood staff.
Your Teacher may be contacted directly in the classroom if you have any comments, questions or concerns.
Please call your child's teacher each day to excuse an absence.

Did you Know?

 
Is your child going to be 3 or 4 on or before October 1, 2014?  We would love to have them join our preschool program.  We will need a copy of your child's birth certificate, immunization record  and proof of your families income for 2013 (1040 tax for or W-2).  Please stop in our office and complete an enrollment packet or pick one up to return completed later.  We look forward to meeting and serving you!

Hart Area Public Library
Storytime will begin Friday, September 26, 2014 at 11:00 a.m.  This is for preschool age children and an adult to attend together on Friday mornings.  For more inforamation contact Amy Whalen at HAPL 873-4476.

Preschool Registration
Your child must be age 3 or 4 on or before October 1, 2014 to register for Preschool for 2014-15.

We encourage you to please stop in the office to pick-up an enrollment packet. You will need to bring your child's original birth certificate, immunization record, proof of 2013 income (1040 tax form or W-2), last physical and health insurance card to your appointment.
